I remember the episode where they were celebrating finally getting out of

debt. They had completed 1 huge lumber order to wipe it out. In the middle of the party the family friend and store owner Ike shows up to complain about all the refrigerators he had spent a ton on to re-sell were garbage. The episode ends on the note that the Waltons were going right back into debt to save Ike's butt. I am watching this thinking why is this their problem?
